production method is a derivative with a methyl substituent on the quinacridone parent, its production process can refer to quinacridone red (C.I. Pigment Violet 19) production process, and the process of aniline raw materials can be replaced by P-toluidine, in addition to this dibutyl succinate synthesis process, there are four synthetic methods for reference. Dibromoterephthalic acid is prepared from p-xylene by bromination, oxidation, reaction with amine and ring closure. Hydroquinone method this process takes aniline as raw material, through hydroquinone or p-benzoquinone carbonylation reaction, and then fused with aniline synthesis, closed-loop preparation, but the main disadvantage of the process is the high price of hydroquinone. Octa-hydrogenated quinacridone was prepared by the fusion reaction of 2.5-diamino-terephthalic acid with excess cyclohexanone in the presence of sulfuric acid, and then was synthesized by thermal dehydrogenation. Diketene method is similar to diethyl succinate method, diketene by ethyl chloride to prepare α-hydroacetoethyl Ester, and then dimerization synthesis hydroquinone -2, 5-dicarboxylic acid ethyl ester further condensation with aromatic amine, preparation by closed-loop oxidation.
